wlansniff setup

Raghu,

Basically : iwconfig wlan0 mode "Monitor" 

And to select the type of header included in the monitored frames: 
Prism2_param wlan0 monitor_type <val> (0: 802.11 / 1: prism2 + 802.11)

If it does not work (wireless tools < v25) then

Iwpriv wlan0 monitor <val> ((0: off /2: 802.11 / 3: prism2 + 802.11)
