Unresolved symbols & kernel-2.4.20 & pcmcia-cs-3.2.3

Hello,

I'm trying to get my Compaq WL-200 to work with kernel 2.4.20.
First problem is that kernel pcmcia doesn't find the bridge so I
downloaded pcmcia-3.2.3 and installed that one.

Now it finds the card. =)

The main problem.
depmod -e
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20/net/hostap.o
depmod:         wireless_send_event
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.20/pcmcia/hostap_cs.o
depmod:         wireless_send_event

I've tried everything I can think of now and no success. Tested with
hostap cvs and last stable, pcmcia-cs-3.2.1 and 3.2.3.

Added this in HostAP Makefile:
PCMCIA_PATH=/usr/src/pcmcia-cs-3.2.3

I did choose wireless lan in kernel, s? wireless extensions should be
compiled with kernel.
[*] Wireless LAN (non-hamradio)

I even upgrade to wireless extension v15, but no difference.

What am I missing?
