Kernel 2.4.20?

I did indeed to a 'make dep' before compiling. How do I regenerate
netsyms.ver? Should 'make dep' do that? In a freshly 'make dep'ed
tree:

[root at wolf:/usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules] grep -i wireless
netsyms.ver
[root at wolf:/usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules]

I.e. nothing...
