My testing shows that tvbest does include hlshd

I'm not sure I can see what you are saying about the wiki.

Under tv shortcuts it says:

Without --fps50 (default)
tvbest   hlshd,hvfxsd,dvfxsd,hlsvhigh,hvfxhigh,dvfxhigh,hlsstd,hlsxstd,hvflow,dvflow

So it is explicitly saying hlshd is included when --fps50 is not used
and that that is the default
