I'll forward the following to the list,
because by accident it was only sent to me:

I can dupe this even after a forced radio cache refresh:

get_iplayer --type=radio -f --force
get_iplayer --type=radio pid:b06nn8bg
--------------------------------------------
INFO: Search term 'b06nn8bg' is a non-existent pid, use --pid instead and/or
spe
cify the correct programme type

INFO: 0 Matching Programmes
--------------------------------------------

But this specific radio show was only broadcast
mere hours ago (LB: 2015-11-07-2100Z), so I'll
give it some more time to let it appear properly in
the AOD feed (hence radio.cache).
In GiP 2.94, unlike TV, radio.cache is refreshed
via theAOD feeds, not the schedule ones...

The thing you must pay closer attention to
is the reason your cache files became corrupt in
the first place; this could vary from very offensive
Security Suites (Antivirus/AntiSpyware etc.) to
lack of proper OS housekeeping...
I would advise you perform a disk defragmantation
and /or a "check disk for errors" process (chkdisk
native Windows utility), plus a disk health utility
could also be of help here...
On this ancient Vista laptop, a user of GiP since 2010,
I have never suffered from corrupt GiP cache files...

EDIT:

And by devine intervention, just before I was
about to post this, a repeat of:

get_iplayer --type=radio -f --force
get_iplayer --type=radio pid:b06nn8bg

now yields:
--------------------------------------------
Matches:
13461: World War One: The Ballads of the Great War - The Ballad of the
Great Wa
r - 1915, BBC Radio 2,

INFO: 1 Matching Programmes
--------------------------------------------

Enjoy!
