It seems I've missed out on an update.

Funnily it usually has worked OK until today.

 I'm pretty sure you're running an old
 version of get_iplayer.  check
 at the
 bottom of the web pvr page, if it's not v2.85, then
 update:
 http://www.infradead.org/get_iplayer_win/get_iplayer_setup_latest.exe
