The above suggests you have fallen afoul of geo-locking.  One of the BBC 
CDNs is geo-locked (Akamai, the one you were trying to access).  Try 
setting --modes to "flashhd2", and toggle back to "flashhd1" if that 
fails.  You don't always get the same CDN for a given mode value.
