Naming conventions for disk drives

Hi,

are there any preferences how to name a disk drive? Currently I'm
using "disk". So, it looks like this:

uboot:/ devinfo
devices:
|----serial_ns165500
[...]
|----disk0 (disk0, disk0.0, disk0.1, disk0.2, disk0.3, env0)

"disk0" is the whole drive, "disk0.0"..."disk0.3" are the partitions.

Any better ideas?

Regards,
Juergen
