10.2.4 uses a different firmware filename for a reason.

10.2.4 has some ABI differences compared to 10.1 and the driver must
be aware of them in order to be able to use it. You seem to have
kernel 3.13 (or at least ath10k from that kernel release for that
matter). This is pretty ancient. If you want to run 10.2.4 you need to
switch to kernel version 4.0 at least.

In case you're interested the older 10.2
(https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firmware/tree/master/10.2) requires
kernel 3.18 at least.
