I am using arch linux with latest updates and using 
3.8.1 kernel in arch linux from testing. I used your package

I followed the instructions from here <a href="https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lenovo_IdeaPad_Y580#Installation">https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Lenovo_IdeaPad_Y580#Installation</a><br>The driver works for a few mins and after a while  the connection freezes and no data transfer after that.<br>

I am not sure what to look for either. I would be happy to post any log if you want.<br>
