So I finally got my act together, and even more importantly the Pierre<br>
et Vacances people finally got their act together as well and updated<br>

However good news, according to the PV site, the week Feb 5 - 12 is at<br>
the same 'before the madness start' pricing, so if we go the week of Feb<br>
5 - 12 we can get it at the good price.<br>

These are the same apartments as we had in 2007 and 2008 - they have a<br>
bedroom with a smallish double bed and two sofa beds in the living area.<br>
I recommend we do not put more than 3 people in an apartment, or a<br>
couple booking an apartment but paying for 3.<br>

The prices including insurance (damage/theft, loss of skis, not<br>
enough/too much snow etc) will be:<br>
<br>
EUR 330/person<br>
EUR 990/apartment<br>
<br>
I have added a little margin in this price to cover the case where we<br>
are short a person to fill up a flat etc. but anything left over we'll<br>
spend on going out for dinner or be returned.<br>
<br>
6-day ski passes are EUR 209 (plus maybe 3-4 EUR for the actual RFID<br>
card). Shorter/longer day passes are available. I do remember we getting<br>
a discount on the ski passes if we book in bulk, but we can look at the<br>
details for that when we get closer. Count EUR 209 for now.<br>

Closest airport to Avoriaz is Geneva. We can either rent cars or take a<br>
bus to Avoriaz (round trip to Avoriaz ski station is EUR 65 on<br>
<a href="http://www.altibus.com" target="_blank">www.altibus.com</a>) and I believe there are smaller shuttle services<br>
available too.<br>

So if you are up for going to Avoriaz Feb 5-12, let us know as soon as<br>
possible so we can figure out how many flats to book.<br>
