I don't know when I'll ski in europe again. If so, I'll have to do like
I did last year - ski a week at another resort either before or after
skigeek week. (And thanks again to Jes for 2007 trip)

I'm open to ideas for US or Canada. I can help organize if we want
to do something in Lake Tahoe area...but that wouldn't be my first
choice because it's not cheap unless you buy a season pass the
year before ($300 at several resorts).

I can also suggest one place in Austria that I've skied
that weren't expensive and I had a great time:

A co-worker was in a local german ski club that rented dormitory rooms
and 1/2 pension (included breakfast and dinner) in a larger "pension".
They happened to have some extra "slots" short term before the trip.
It's a nice hill, not huge, but good snow and not expensive.

Well, if martin hicks is game, and we can get 8 or more people to commit,
I can look into some suggestions for a 2009 "west coast" trip. Some initial
ideas are Mount Hood (Oregon), Jackson Hole (Wyoming), or try to figure
out what meets our budgets/requirements in Canada.

cheers,
