Yeah, looks like, you'd need to take a different route further west.

Heh :) Just had another idea that if we arrived earlier we could take
some train to outside Basel so you don't have to drive all the way in to
pick us up, but we can probably just arrange that. We'll be going to
Basel at 1pm then, even if you say you'd want to be there an hour later
it's not worth it to us, this is the only train that goes straight
through.

Yeah, getting there earlier than we need isn't really a concern :)
Sounds like a plan then; I'll book our train tickets, let me know about
car cost sharing.
