IEEE 1588-2008 (PTPv2)

No, this was the first I was or even knew of it.  I downloaded the code but won't be able to look at it until tomorrow.  Does anybody know if it has the HW assist code in it?  I'll check tomorrow but was wondering if it took that into account yet.

I'm new to IEEE 1588. I subscribed to this mailing list and the SourceForge.net ptpd group.

I notice that PTPv2 code just became available at http://ptpd.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ptpd/branches/v2/. Did anyone get a chance to try it out?
