[Pcsclite-muscle] SCR3500 works fine in one F20 machine, but not other

Ok,

I have two smart card readers.

1. SCR3500 small laptop reader and
2. Activcard USB Reader v 2.0

I have two Fedora machines

1. Fedora 20 on desktop
2. Fedora 20 on laptop

Here's my problem

1. SCR3500 works fine on desktop with Firefox and Thunderbird
2. SCR3500, on laptop, generates "connection was reset" errors with
Firefox, but works on Thunderbird

3. ActivCard USB Reader v2.0 works fine on desktop with Firefox and
Thunderbird
4. ActivCard USB Reader v2.0 works fine on laptop with Firefox and
Thunderbird

What am I missing here?  I would think the SCR3500 is broken, but it
works fine on the Desktop.

Help?
