[OpenWrt-Devel] Problem with "base" release repositories

Hi all,

unfortunately there appears to be an issue with the build cluster which
causes it to produce slightly broken SDKs with a wrong embedded package
feeds configuration.

Due to yet unknown issues in the buildroot (or the build setup itself),
the target/sdk Make target fails to identify the current Git branch,
causing it to emit feeds.conf.default files with

src-git base https://git.openwrt.org/openwrt/openwrt.git

instead of the expected

src-git base https://git.openwrt.org/openwrt/openwrt.git;openwrt-18.06

As a consequence, bad base packages from the master branch have been
built and uploaded to the release repositories.

To limit the amount of further damage, I have taken down the broken
"base" repositories now and will investigate the size of the problem and
potential root causes.

This process will unfortunately also delay 18.06.3 and 17.07.7 releases
until further notice.

Will follow up with further information as it becomes available.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

~ Jo
