Hi all,

if I'm not mistaken, the following patch "repairing" power limits has only
been applied to master:

https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/commit/2389ebbd48d2073609b6acff9a3507b1da
a36e36

Thus, many of the lede-17.01 devices (e.g. most of ar71xx) will still use
the maximum allowed tx power without caring for the antenna gain and
consequently have "illegal" tx power by default (without manual adjustment).

It would be fairly easy to cherry-pick/backport this patch to lede-17.01, so
I would be glad if someone could do that and provide a "legal" default
configuration for many devices again.

Best

Adrian Schmutzler
