I have setup a mirror at mirrors.cicku.me/openwrt. HTTPS is available as well. My mirror site powers many open source projects for years.

This mirror is also behind a larger CDN than your current provider, and has no usage restriction because I work there, please feel free to add it to the page and let me know if you need anything special from me.
