Yes, the type conversion when passing parameters does report a warning.
We can turn it into a macro so there are no warnings. In addition,
sizeof(void*) should be equal to sizeof(uintptr_t) on common platforms,
so it is appropriate to convert the pointer to uintptr_t for calculation
