Difference between a wrong password and an expired one

Hello,

Is openconnect able to differentiate between a wrong password and an
expired one?

I'd llike to know if there is anything in the communication between
Cisco ASA gateway and openconnect that could tell user his password is
wrong or just expired.

Does this depend on the ASA users authentication setup?
