I think I hold the collectors gold awards with the SCSI daughtercard for
ARMwinder, and the PCMCIA daughtercard for CrusoeWinder :-)

If you find a 3100 with Forth in the flash, that's a rare one indeed.

Note that the 3100 does not support loading a ramdisk (well, it does but 
it doesn't seem to work).  I got around this on Fedora 6, but haven't
tried since then.  Most notably udevd is launched from the ramdisk, and
without it one needs to manually create devices.

The kernel has to be 2 MB or less I believe.  Just ext2, drive
controller driver, and serial port drivers built-in with the rest as
modules.  The boot partition has to be ext2 formatted with no attributes
and such.
