sendmail woes again

Actually you have put your finger right on the problem there... sendmail 
is refusing to consider your .forward file due to the permissions on 
your home directory.  Its meant as a security "feature".

The simple answer is probably to fo "chmod 755 /home/dhanson", and 
perhaps the same on /home itself.

If you do need your directories writable by more than just the owner 
(such as a shared directory for several users) then you have some other 
options, known as "DontBlameSendmail".  For details see:
