Sorry each of the many communities across my world want it differently...

But, I would take a review while I re-spin patch v3. I am going to add 
get status and lock tests
to cover those cases as well as fix the spelling mistake in patch 2's 
commit message, "consisteny".
As well as fix the fork bug where -1 can be used in kill and send the 
signal to everything.
