No, it IS linear. It just comes with a 1/2 factor according to your code
(I'm assuming there's a typo in the table below).

And thus this comment is wrong and misleading. Suggest something like,
Divider of i2s_bclk always implies a 1/2 factor, which is
described by i2s_bclk_factor.
