Just to be clear, do you mean to add just one node for all 3 instances like
this?

That will work since we can then register all pins at the same time. But I
can't see how it will work when keeping the 3 different nodes since each
instance needs to register the pins they control at probe time. So there will
need to be some way to tell the 3 different nodes apart.
