Hello Dominik!

I tried acpi=force as a boot option; the pcmcia usb2.0 module is
recognized (blinking usb key) but the machine doesn't start; it freezes
after a fraction of second...

Here is what I can read on the screen:

[ 0.032223] ACPI: Core revision 20090521
[ 0.04........] ACPI: setting ELCR to 0200 (from 0e20)Core
revision 20090521
[ 0.04........] weird, boot CPU (#0) not listed by the BIOS.
[ 0.04........] SMP motherboard not detected.
[ 0.04........] Local APIC not detected. Using dummy APIC emulation.
[ 0.04........] SMP disabled.
[ 0.05........] Brought up 1 CPUs.
....
[ 0.05........] ACPI: bus bridge pci registered
[ 0.06........] PCI: PCI BIOS revision 2.10 entry at 0xfd9b0,
last bus=1
[ 0.06........] PCI: Using configuration type 1 for base access

and last line before freezing:

[ 0.069000] bio: create slab <bio-0> at 0
