Okay, to summarize:
- forcing IRQ to be 11 means the CardBus bridge works as it should -- it
recognizes card insert and eject events properly.
- the CardBus network card does not work, though.
I'm not surprised at all that the patches in comment #51 do not work -- they
are for a different, but still similar problem. What I'd be interested now is
the output of the "cbdump" tool (part of pcmciautils, pcmcia-cs) both under a
working and a non-working kernel. Maybe we need to set some register properly
for the hard override to work.
