Up to kernel 2.6.33-rc8 the crashes are still there.

It doesn't look like it's taken serious.
Jouni, do you still have an external hostap package that is suitable for
kernel 2.6 ?  The in-kernel driver is dysfunctional (you can't even boot
when the hardware is present).
