hard freezes with hdsp with cardbus/pci adapter card

hi all,

i still have the issue described in this mail, a hard freeze, when using
the rme hdsp via an ene cb1410 cardbus controller card.

are there any debugging techniques for debugging a hard freeze? like,
would it make sense to set up a serial console in order to run a kernel
debugger? or would that be useless for debugging a hard freeze?

thanks, tim
