Hi Tony,

the pcmcia-socket-startup is installed at /lib/udev and /etc/udev/pcmcia.rules has a link to /lib/udev/pcmcia-socket-startup
So that's not the problem.

Slackware has a similar looking problem in that pcmcia-socket-startup
is installed in the wrong place. Try executing pcmcia-socket-startup
by hand.
