Configuration problem with ide-cs

On my real system, the modules are not automatically loaded the way they are on 
the test machine. Once I realized that, I need to modprobe ide-cs and ide-disk, 
then the device appears and the two partitions can be mounted. I don't know why 
the manual load is necessary, but I've wasted enough time on this already.

In the debugging process, I discovered an error in debugging for module ide-cs. 
A patch for that is submitted separately.
