Please provide dmesg output from a boot with ACPI and another one

It may be useful to build your own kernel from vanilla sources.

Note that yenta_socket is not PCMCIA, but CardBus, as Dominik pointed
out.

Well then maybe you will have to stay with acpi=off.
But please send dmesg output so someone can compare them and maybe
come to a useful conclusion.
