hi everyone.
I have a problem on an xscale (intel 465) and i think
it can be something about yenta.
I'm using a wireless (atheros) cardbus card on an
xscale board. Everything seems to load correctly but
effectively
when i try to use the device (e.g. trying ifconfig the
interface) i got an "hardware error" and the system
freeze.
Today i've tryied the pci version of the same device,
with the same chipset and the same driver and it's
working perfectly.
So..i'm thininkg if this problem can be related to
Yenta Socket on Xscale (IXP4xx in this case).
Does anyone knows something about this?
I must say one thing:
the board i'm using allocates more than 64MB of PCI
memory, so i need to use a Indirect Pci Memory Access
to have everything working correctly (without this
no pci device works).
Maybe is this feature that is not working correctly
with yenta?
thanks
claudio
