Hi,
I have the following PCMCIA/PCCard Card

ZTE Corporation (www.zteit.com)

800Mhz CDMA 1X
Model : MC315
PCMCIA TYPE-II
Wireless Modem

Details (As figured out from Windows XP Installation)

Contains a qualcomm chipset MSM5105 for the CDMA part
and a
Oxford Semiconductor OX16C950B UART for serial comm

Linux identifies it as follows

pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 0
pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia0.0
ttyS3: detected caps 00000700 should be 00000100
0.0: ttyS3 at I/O 0x2e8 (irq = 3) is a 16C950/954

setserial -a /dev/ttyS3
/dev/ttyS3, Line 3, UART: 16950/954, Port: 0x02e8, IRQ: 3
        Baud_base: 115200, close_delay: 50, divisor: 0
        closing_wait: none
        Flags: spd_normal skip_test

minicom does not work at any speed

wvdialconf does not recognise the card/serial port anything

any help will be appreciated

regards
