Sorry, for double post, but the mailing system says that the message is to
big, so I divide it in to parts...
PART 1:
Hello,
I try to install SUSE 10.1 on my Toshiba Satellite 5205-S705. There are
several problems, but the most annoying one is "** DANGER *** unable to
remove socket power" I get when suspend-to-ram. After resume MiniPCI
wireless card disappears forever! The only way to get it back is to reboot
the computer. Before suspend wireless works fine. I read everything I could
find about this know problem, but nothing seems to
apply to my particular case.
I tried Slackware 11.0, newest 2.6 kernel - no luck. Same problem.
By the way, with 2.4 kernel wireless works fine (suspend/resume). But there
are a lot of other problems, so I'd really like to use 2.6.
I attach dmesg (kernel is built with PCI debug enabled) *** PART 1***.
lspci -vv, /proc/iomem, /proc/ioports, lsmod, pccardctl ident, pccardctl
info ***PART 2***.
Please, let me know if you need an additional information.
Thank you!
