I've just bought a HP Pavilion ze2000 series (the model name is ze2508au).
I confirm your patch available in bug #2944 fix the Cardbus card detection.

Great patch! This is the first time I've used a PCMCIA bus and I thought
I've did something wrong.
It took me awhile 'till I was confident it wasn't my fault.

Status: The patch is still waiting for hitting mainline (it's in the pcmcia git
tree, waiting to be forwarded/picked up with an upcoming merge of patches),
further confirmations should also help, so thanks for sending me reports (and
please continue to do so, it also increases our knowledge which models need this)!
