Card does only work after reinsert

Hi,

i am using the sierra wireless aircard 850 on my edb9315 board. This card does 
only work when i reinsert it in my pcmcia slot (physically or with cardctl 
eject and cardctl insert). Other cards are working well without doing this 
(i.e. Novatel wireless merlin u630). The card is detected successfully and 
the right driver is installed too.

Can someone give me any hints how to solve this problem ?
