PCMCIA Architecture under Linux - help

Dear PCMCIA Developers,

I am planning to write a PCMCIA FLASH Media reader driver. 
I have worked on PCI based Flash media drivers and other serial camera driver.

But, I am newbie to the PCMCIA Achitecture, its Design & support under Linux.

Can someone please guide me through some documents or HOWTO's that would help me in understanding the PCMCIA driver model under Linux.
