Yes, it works now! Thanks a lot! Should I disable CONFIG_PCI_BIOS in the
future to avoid this?

BTW, any idea why I need to insert every card twice before it is detected?

And is there any particular laptop manufacturer that is more trustworthy
with respect to Linux PCMCIA, or Linux support in general?
