Regarding my problem with the WL200, I'm going to try replacing it with another one. It will take me a few weeks to get it but I'd like to get to the bottom of this and this other one definately works (2.6.10, pd6729, hostap) so it should tell me if its a system specific thing or not. I'll keep you posted.
