This is what I have always want to know. How the "Have PNP OS" setting 
in BIOS should be set for recent linux kernels. Anyone knows wht this 
setting is actually doing?

In my understanding, the 2.6.x series Linux should finally be PNP OS, 
thus the bios settnig should be "Have PNP OS".
