PCMCIA driver for a MPC82xx

I have the task to create a PCMCIA driver for a MPC8280 processor (PowerQuicc II) and as far as i see I will have to create bus_operations my "socket". 

Can someone give me good sources of information about PCMCIA and how to write a device driver for linux. 
Does anybody knows of an implementation (.c) of a pcmcia driver in linux kernel that does not use a pcmcia controller.
