I allready tried to solve my problem with the hints given at the pcmcia
kernel homepage (insert reserve=... at bootloader). It solved a bit of my
problems, but i still have a the errormessage at the subject.

I got a Benq Joybook R22E, amd 64 Mobile, a ENE CB1410 (rev 01) cardbus
controller. Details see attachment lspci.
I'm running Kubuntu 5.04 and tried the 2.6.5-10 amd64 generic and
2.6.11-1 amd64 k8 kernels, but both versions seems to have the same
probleme.

Any ideas how to get my cardbus working?

Thanks

Christian

I attachted the dmesg output, iomem cat and lspci -vv for details.

** PCI interrupts are no longer routed automatically. If this
** causes a device to stop working, it is probably because the
** driver failed to call pci_enable_device(). As a temporary
** workaround, the "pci=routeirq" argument restores the old
** behavior. If this argument makes the device work again,
** please email the output of "lspci" to bjorn.helgaas at hp.com
** so I can fix the driver.
