Toshibalap top and xircom realport ethernet

Hi
Am new to posting and linux and need some help getting Toshiba laptop and xircom realport ethernet working.  It worked under windows but not with suse 9.3  I've loaded laptop and mobile software, and seemed to have started PCMCIA.  
When I run probe  I get :command nortfound
when I run cardctl ident I get Ho such device
when I run cardmgr I get cardmgr I get cardmgr [8704}:no sockets found
can someone please help
