This won't help with your CardBus problem - that is beyond me, but 
you should be able to get wifi running. Go to the Broadcom website, 
grab the Windows drivers for that BM4306 and then install 
ndiswrapper. My wifi card is a Linksys WRT54g. I boot both Windows XP 
and SuSE 9.2 - the card works very well on both.
