Software Environment:
Linux kernel, Debian distribution
Problem Description:
When inserting PC-Cards just nothing happens, except that the interrupt
counter in /proc/interrupts increase :
19: 7 IO-APIC-level yenta, uhci_hcd
20: 2 IO-APIC-level yenta
(Same machine works with Windows XP, so hardware is not broken)
lspci does not show any pccard.
I guess it could be the problem described on
http://kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/pcmcia/pcmcia.html
I tried to load yenta_socket both with disable_clkrun=0
and disable_clkrun=1, but that didn't help.
Interestingly, there are plenty of web pages telling that
Linux runs well on Notebooks with the same chip.
Steps to reproduce:
Insert a pc card.
