Please don't assume that the numbers are consecutive, or really have
any meaning, except that they generally provide an order by which
series should be applied.  For instance, I have at present:

[01-03 omitted for various reasons but they exist]
04-smp
10-pcmcia
11-pcmciaresource
12-pcmciaarm
20-net

and the sparseness of the space allows me to insert patch series
where necessary.  It may be that your 12-pcmcia actually becomes
11-pcmciasomethingmoredescriptive should it be decided that your
patch is more acceptable or desireable for merging than
11-pcmciaresource.
