JVC mininote laptop CDROM not working

Oh Yes -- sorry -- the oops happens when I run cardctl
eject.
I see from the log that when I insert the CD card
something tries to load the floppy module - I can't
find out what's doing this, but as there isn't a
floppy in this laptop it's not going to work! I don't
know if this is related to the oops in any way ?
