2.6test4 and compaq 2110-no beeps/autoload=crash

ok, i have my wpc11 working with 2.6 kernel, but if i
tell /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia to use yenta_socket instead
of yenta for pcic, it locks up on pcmcia load(if card
is in there).

if i leave it as yenta, and boot, then modprobe
yenta_socket, then restart pcmcia(i have rh9), it
works.

but i get no beeps, and it doesn't auto start on card
insert(or even when i get it working, if i take card
out then put back in, no auto start)

this was not the case with 2.4 kernel.

i even put modprobe yenta_socket in
/etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia under start, and lock up that
way too.

thanks
