PCMCIA and APM suspend

This is actually the same case that I tried to explain earlier
except cardmgr was running this time. The result is the same as 
before: hd spins down and LCD gets blanked but system doesn't 
really suspend.

"cardctl eject" produces the following log (Orinoco wlan card plugged):
Oct 20 16:00:45 t20 kernel: unregister_netdevice: waiting for eth1 to become free. Usage count = 5

However, this message can be avoided by doing "ifconfig eth1 down" 
before eject. Trying to suspend results in exactly the same kind of 
behaviour as earlier (doesn't matter if the net interface is down or up).

When I started playing with this I noticed another funny thing,
if I did "cardctl suspend" before an (unsuccesfull) suspend and 
"cardctl resume" after it I got lots of "scheduling while atomic" 
errors with stack dumps (from kernel/sched.c) while resuming. 
But I got this only once and I couldn't reproduce it.
